Midwest Mayhem is a large, pseudo-monthly regional tournament series organized by Events2Compete and held in Chicago, Illinois. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is the most popular game, with some of the Midwest's best players gathering to compete, including the likes of Zinoto, Ned, Tyroy, Darkshad, and JJROCKETS. Sometimes national-level smashers such as ZeRo, Ally, Nairo, Abadango, and Mr.R are in attendance as well. As the series has grown, other organizations like 2GGaming have co-hosted the events alongside E2C, with special qualifier tournaments.
The series also formerly featured Super Smash Bros. Melee, with players such as ChuDat attending some, as well as Project M and Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournaments, but with fewer entrants as side events.
