Once thrown, the Flipper hangs suspended in the air and bounces any character who comes into contact with it, even the character who initially threw it. Flipper, which has not been seen since the early days of the NES, the Flipper appeared as a troublesome obstacle in Balloon Fight, and it's no less annoying in Super Smash Bros Melee. Once thrown, the Flipper hangs suspended in the air and bounces any character who comes into contact with it, even the character who initially threw it. The Flipper does 11 percent damage when thrown normally or thrown with a Strong move, 13 percent with a Smash throw, and 1 percent for each subsequent hit after it's set up.
