2GGC: Midwest Mayhem Saga is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U national tournament and 2nd qualifier in the 2GG Championship Series, to take place at the eSports Arena in Santa Ana, California in February 11th, 2017. True to its name, the event will be dedicated to the Midwest Mayhem tournament series (and the Midwest region in general) and will feature past Midwest Mayhem winners Zinoto, False, and 6WX, as well as other top players such as ZeRo, Larry Lurr, ANTi, Tweek and Samsora. Three other Midwest-based tournaments; FTS: The WRECKpublic, Kingslayer 2, and Midwest Mayhem 7: Mexico Invasion; will be qualifiers for this event; the top-placing Midwest player from each will be flown out to compete. In addition to this the winner of a pre-registration raffle for Midwest Mayhem 7: Mexico Invasion will also be flown out to the event. There will be a SoCal vs Midwest Crew Battle at the event. The crew battle will settle the score between the two regions as they are tied at 1 to 1.
