Availability
Lucario is a hidden character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and can be unlocked by performing one of the three following tasks.
- Defeat him in The Subspace Emissary.
- Complete 4 Target Tests with any character.
- Play 200 VS. matches.
Presumedly of you do one of the latter 2 tasks, you will have to fight Lucario to unlock him, but this is not confirmed.
