The Forward throw is a throw performed by pressing forward on the control stick after having grabbed the enemy. Most forward throws have neither the power nor the comboability to be very useful.

  • Mario: Spins the opponent one circle forward. Good knockback but not as strong as his back throw.
  • Luigi: Same as Mario's.
  • Peach: Slaps her opponent, sending them foward.
  • Bowser: Jabs his opponent with his horns.
  • Yoshi: Spits out his opponent in front of himself.

Notable throws include

  • Peach's a good KO throw in Melee, but rarely a KO throw in Brawl.
  • Wario's forward throw (spinning like Mario's back throw and Wario's can KO at high percentages),
  • Ness one (arguably the strongest at 0%),
  • DK's can carry opponents around.
  • Marth can be used to chain throw.
