1 April 20XX: Leffen was arrested while renewing his work visa, after a legal prosecution made by Armada. He is now passing 50 years in prison for fraud, harassing other players, stealing default palette swaps, waveshining into up smash, playing Super Smash Bros 4, without legal permission and illegal gambling with Mango for the large sum of $1000.

1 April 20XX: Super Smash Bros. 5 was announced. Sakurai shortly assassinated by the Melee Conspiracy. Riots broke out with Brawl, Smash 4, Smash 5 and even Smash 64 fans against Melee fans, although all the fans of the five games eventually teamed up to fight a bigger threat, Project M Social Darwinists.

1 April 2016: The Supreme Court of the United States of Norwalk, California ruled today that Mango is a straight-up jerk. The majority opinion cites him only fighting other players twice a year, but picking joke characters, as evidence for this claim. The judges have unanimously agreed that he is "so BM". He was later arrested for committing the war crime of walking up slowly and down smashing.

1 April 2016: Famous SmashWiki ~~bot~~ user XL becomes sentient and takes over the world with lykos and Beancounter. The world has been dominated by large trouts, snarky oeufs, and goat herders.

1 April 2016: Nintendo announces the Nintendo Cinematic Universe, with The Smashers along its list of films.

31 March 2016: At Nintendo Gaming Championship: Masahiro Sakurai, Reggie Fils-Aimé, and ZeRo take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles, and Masahiro Sakurai & Bill Trinen win Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles.

31 March 2016: Version 1.03 of Super Smash Bros. Melee has been released. The new release patches exploits such as Wavedashing, L-Canceling, and Ledge Teching. The Debug menu has also been removed.

26 March 2016: At 2GGT: FOW Saga: Nairo, Larry Lurr, and Tearbear take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles, and FOW & Nairo win Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles.

19 March 2016: Battle of the Five Gods concludes, with Hungrybox, Mango and Armada taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles.
