Maine Competitive Gaming (often abbreviated as MCG) is an organization centered in Portland, ME that strives to cultivate skill, community, and sportsmanship among gamers in the Northeast. Their core teammates are focused on being learners and mentors in a quickly expanding genre of gaming entertainment. They hope to provide safe spaces for gamers to participate in local events where they can hone their abilities in Super Smash Brothers, Street Fighter, Hearthstone, and many other AAA Video Games. Additionally, they are excited to highlight indie games that fall on the competitive spectrum. They host Maine Competitive Gaming Monthlies featuring Smash 4, Project M and Melee singles or doubles, while sometimes featuring Smash 64 as a side event. They post content to their YouTube channel and livestream events at their *Twitch.TV Livestream.
