The way we've always done it is that it's impossible to "fall out" of notability. Once notable is always notable. <span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva; font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#083; text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #0b7">Serpent</span> <span style="color:#ed0; text-shadow:0px 0px 3px #fd0">King</span></span> 20:14, 19 March 2016 (EDT) |

SW:NOTABLE
You sure this guy is notable? Does he have any results? All that I can find is a YouTube and SmashBoards account. -- Ethan(Discussion) 16:38, 16 February 2016 (EST)
- He's power ranked, so yes he is notable. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:39, 16 February 2016 (EST)
- But then again, that was a few years ago. I'll update the page. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:40, 16 February 2016 (EST)
- (edit conflict) What if he is no longer power ranked and is removed? Where in SW:NOTABLE does it say that being in a power rank is a good reason? -- Ethan(Discussion) 16:42, 16 February 2016 (EST)
- Well for a recent power rank, they obviously are ranked for a reason, which makes them notable. That's how it's always been, otherwise half of our smasher articles would be deleted. Outdated power rankings though, I'm not sure to be honest. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:45, 16 February 2016 (EST)
- Well, it seems like we have tons of Smasher pages. Power ranks aren't official. We are going to need a lot more smasher pages to make for every single smasher that is on any power rank in the history of any Smash game.
- Okay to be honest, I'm not entirely sure on what makes a notable PR, I recommend talking to someone more knowledgeable about the competitive scene about it, because I really have no clue. Disaster Flare (talk) 16:51, 16 February 2016 (EST)

(reset) Not all smashers that are power ranked are notable. Take Prince Ramen as an example, he's a Palu main and is power ranked, but if we compare him with AeroLink, Capnchreest, El_Pitikla, Iceninja and TLTC, he is by no means notable. His results are not on par with the former five.
We already know AeroLink and Iceninja are her metagame's pioneers, while TLTC became famous because customs, El_Pitikla still uses her nowadays alongside his Fox, and Chreest gained respect after facing Mr. R, and still places decently high. But Ramen has not achieved such notable feats, except arguably defeating Wizzrobe's Sheik, and saying that isn't much knowing that Wizzrobe enters more 64 and Melee tournaments.
With this example in mind, feel free to discuss now about notability. Although IMO, this page should be deleted, I've never heard of him recently. -- BeepYou, a user with no grammar at all :v (talk) 17:29, 16 February 2016 (EST)
