I found Template:Smasher Infobox, I'll use it to give me an idea of what a smasher qualifies, unless we get something more specific. -- <span style="color:#000f55;font-family:Cursive;font-style:italic">Ethan</span><small>(<span style="color:Blue">Discussion</span>)</small> 12:28, 18 February 2016 (EST)

Ah, there needs to be a disambiguation here. --Mr Ng 22:18, October 19, 2006 (GMT)

As one of the most viewed and most linked-to pages, it needs to be spruced up considerably as well. MaskedMarth (t c) 15:05, March 19, 2007 (GMT)

Skill level descriptions

What I'd like to do is provide a definition for each of the skill levels (Amateur, Pro-am, Pro, etc.) listed here. Would this be possible, or is the definition for each skill level different for every smasher? I don't really know the definition of any of them, except maybe Pro. --YodaMasterZ 14:59, August 19, 2007 (EDT)

The usual

I'm sure everyone's tired of hearing me complain about it, but man, I gotta say...this just looks so unprofessional sitting in the "Smasher" namespace. --Randall00 20:24, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. Moved to main namespace.--Richard 21:33, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Page Move

There's no need to move smasher to smasher (player) and then re-direct smasher to the very same. This smasher (character) article you've made has some legitimacy, I think, but it's certainly not the most common definition associated with the terminology==they're characters, first and foremost. --RJM Talk 21:36, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

"Rape"

Is that blurb about commentators refraining from using the word "rape" really necessary to this article? I'm aware that usage of that term is a bit of an issue within the smash community, but talking about it in this article seems so out of place. 70.104.22.245 10:59, 28 September 2014 (EDT)

Well it depends exactly how big an issue it is really. Getting kicked off a grand finals stream for using the word seems to be the impetus for mentioning it, and if much controversy ensued it could be notable (though potentially on the smasher's page instead of this one? not sure).
