:::Perhaps a more apt comparison is normal gameplay items. For example, it's quite simple to explain something like [[Grass (item)]], but we have it because items in general warrant pages. As it stands, we're in an inconsistent state where many Smash Tour items have their own pages on the basis of other roles but a handful don't. ::::Inconsistency isn't too relevant, since trophies and stickers may or may not have pages based on what else they are. Tour Items are in fact just a few handpicked trophies with silly effects attached, so they're really not much more than trophies - they're probably less notable than the trophies-as-stages from Melee, like Majora's Mask. So, while trying to get the Metroid Challenge, I've noticed something odd... Whenever I get a Custom Move in this mode, usually 3 moves, it is always new! Is this noted for anyone else? If so, then this could be a decent lazy-man's Custom Move farm (for someone like me; just turn it on and let it run on automatic). Is that it? Is that all?! Come on! Look! We've got Screwattack and Superspicy Curry and that list is all we got?!
- I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say. If you're complaining about the game mode itself, this is not the place to discuss such things. Also, please sign your posts with four ~. ♡FirstaLasto♥ 01:53, 10 November 2014 (EST)
Smash Tour Item Pages
Do the Smash Tour items deserve pages? I believe they do. My reasoning is:
All mode-exclusive elements have pages: the Advenutre Mode enemies and side-scrolling stages have pages. The Subspace Emissary enemies, stages, items and stage elements have pages. The Smash Run enemies have pages. I believe this is enough reason, but I dunno, someone might disagree. So what do you guys think? Tepig (talk) 15:11, 25 December 2014 (EST)
- At the bare minimum, they're generally going to need disambiguation pages between their Smash Tour and trophy roles, since all but Bus to the City also appear as trophies, as I mention here. The question is whether they deserve more. I would personally advocate going beyond that to actual articles, but there's certainly room for discussion on the subject. Miles (talk) 15:14, 25 December 2014 (EST)
- Actually, the Bus to the City appears as a trophy as well. (it is around the 1:43:43 mark) Tepig (talk) 15:20, 25 December 2014 (EST)
Here's my thoughts on this: if it appears as an item in Smash Tour, it gets its own page. Think of the Smash Tour items as regular battle items, Assist Trophies, or SSE enemies; it's pretty much the same concept, but in a Mario Party-esque setting. Rtzxy Reflect! 15:32, 25 December 2014 (EST)
- Yeah. You pretty much summarized my thoughts in an easier to understand way. Tepig (talk) 15:40, 25 December 2014 (EST)
Smash Tour's items can each be fully and completely explained in a sentence or two, just like stickers. No articles for them. Toomai Glittershine The Indescribable 15:45, 25 December 2014 (EST)
- Well, you could also say that we don't need a "List of stickers (Ice Climber series)" since there's only one Ice Climber sticker, but we have one. Why? For consistency sake. That's why I believe Smash Tour items should have pages: other mode-exclusive elements have pages, so we need pages for Smash Tour items for consistency sake. Tepig (talk) 15:55, 25 December 2014 (EST)
- Your comparison is flawed. We don't have the sticker list pages because they're in a submode, we have them because they're collectibles. Toomai Glittershine The Zesty 16:09, 25 December 2014 (EST)
