Tecnobar 5 was a tournament held by Super Smash Bros. Argentina, featuring singles for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, being the fifth tournament of the series and the first of 2016. Gado won the tournament using Ganondorf most of the time and continuing his winning streak. Pato got 2nd again after Dominaria. Smashu had a notable performance beating veteran players like Oasis and Nova reaching the 5th place. Escurridizo reached 4th place for the first time in an official competition.
