I literally flipped my shit when I saw her trailer for the first time, but not in a pissed-off way. I was never opposed to her getting into the game, and I thought she could have been a great character given the awesome shit she's done in her original series. However, I didn't vote for her, since I assumed that she would just be one of those characters that people wouldn't play seriously and instead pause the game and start fapping until they got blisters. (Plus, why did we need another character that could be used like that, when we already have two others that can be used in the same way)? Once I continued watching the direct though, I saw that she would definitely give players more incentive to actually play her, and they even managed to stay true to her games, with the amount of censorship they did being almost unnoticeable. While the fanservice is definitely one of the reasons why I like both her inclusion in this game, and her home series, it's not the main reason either, and she looks insanely fun. The only real downside is that she may be nerfed in any patches that could come after she comes out (that same could also be said for the other newcomers covered in the direct). --<span style="color: red">Meat</span><span style="color: orange">Ball</span><span style="color:Gold">104</span> 10:44, 21 December 2015 (EST) | I literally flipped my shit when I saw her trailer for the first time, but not in a pissed-off way. Bayonetta's inclusion is cool and all, and I like her moveset a ton. That said, I hate how she is sexualized in her games - all the crotch shots, stripping, double entendres....she'd be way cooler if all that was dumped. I know that's a big part of the games and how their implement her character, but that's just a large dislike of mine. That and many other things come with her inclusion. I like her face and voice, but I don't really find her as a character attractive at all... Thoughts on the Character
So, what are y'alls thoughts on the best witch in existence joining smash? I my self? I wanted her in so bad, she was my most wanted character for SSB4. And when DLC was announced to be a thing for SSB4, she became my most wanted DLC. I figured she never had much of a chance, so I was resigned to the strong possibility she wouldn't be included. However with her winning the smash Bros Ballot, I couldn't be happier.
But what about you guys, what do you think of her inclusion? I'm curious to know what the contributors of this wiki think about her inclusion.

- The opinions seem very mixed to me. Some love it, some hate it. I personally have mixed opinions. I don't like the idea, but I'm open to trying her out and maybe I'll end up liking her inclusion in the future. Disaster Flare (talk) 19:23, 19 December 2015 (EST)
- It mainly stems from the fact that Bayonetta was never my type of character. Like, I've never played Bayonetta, so I'm probably a bad judge on this, but she seems overly fanservice-y in my opinion, making even ZSS and Palutena's look tame. I do plan on trying the game out one day mainly because she's in Smash now, but that's just my current opinion. Disaster Flare (talk) 00:39, 20 December 2015 (EST)
- But unlike those characters, Bayonetta isnt just sexy with a serious persona to counter it. Shee embraces her sexuality and uses it in a campy, silly, way to beat her enemies. Unlike most sexualized female characters in gaming, who are designed to be sexy yet developers want us to take them seriously *coughQuietcough* she embraces her sexuality, she flaunts it, she teases, and if you try to touch her without her permission, she will kick your ass. Unlike characters who are sexually objectified in games, Bayonetta represents sexual empowerment for women, or at least thats how I interpret her character. As someone whos played both games, I can't help but adore and respect her for both her.

- Like I said, I am the worst judge since I've never played or watched any gameplay of her games. I think I can respect her a bit more knowing that. Disaster Flare (talk) 12:05, 20 December 2015 (EST)
She's a bit too obscure as a character, but her moveset is amazing IMO. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 19:51, 19 December 2015 (EST)
- How so? I mean, considering the fact she won the Smash Ballot, it would imply a lot of people know about her. Winning a popularity contest would make a character kind of the opposite of obscure, or at least I would think so.

In my honest opinion, I thought Bayonetta would never make it in. She's a little over the edge when it comes to mature content (even arguably making Metal Gear Solid look rated T), but, that said, I'm not necessarily against having Bayonetta. - I was really happy to see her in, as I loved the first two games. However I don't buy her being the ballot winner due to the sales of her game. However I'm happy nonetheless. Nintenzilla (talk) 08:54, 21 December 2015 (EST)
