When Sonic transforms, he gains the ability to float around the level at will. The transformation lasts for 15 seconds and he is completely invincible in this form. Any opponents he collides with will take 16% damage upon impact and very high knockback. It is similar in function to [[Pikachu (SSBB)|Pikachu's]] Final Smash, [[Volt Tackle]], except that he cannot go through platforms like the Volt Tackle can.
