- The Smash Fighter Ballot for Super Smash Bros. 4 ends, and data-mining confirms at least 3 characters will be added soon.

- Super Smash Bros. 4 is updated to version 1.1.1. New downloadable content is released, including Super Mario Maker, Pirate Ship (Wii U version only), and new Mii Fighter costumes. The Duck Hunt stage is added to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS for free.

- At Helix, Armada, Westballz, and Ice take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles, Ice & Armada win Melee doubles, and Armada wins Project M singles.
