The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Red is a Japanese Smash 64 player who was considered the best Mario main in the world as well as top smasher in Japan in the earlier period of 64 play in Japan, roughly 2004-2007. (In terms of more recently, the top Mario is now FAUST and the top player is now Jousuke or wario.) He is now the current host of the annual "Kansai" series of Japanese ssb64 tournaments as well as a commentator.
Outside of this tournament series, he is also known for helping to make the most recent matchup chart/tier list along with Kikoushi and others. He also helps run http://ssbonline.html.xdomain.jp/, the main Japanese tournament website and archive.
