Herbert von Karajan is a high-level Super Smash Bros player that mains Donkey Kong. He is most well-known for creating an adapter that allows for USB devices like keyboards to be used on the Nintendo 64 and gamecube, as well as for travelling to Canada, Japan, and Peru to play against top-levelled Smash 64 players, with his most recent travels having been with Canadian smasher SuperBoomFan and Mexican smasher Mariguas. He is also known for being banned on Smashboards numerous times, due to frequent trolling of site moderators that are not active in the 64 scene.

Trivia

  • Herbert von Karajan's gamertag comes from the Austrian conductor of Herbert von Karajan.
  • He also adamantly believes Jousuke to be the best player in the world over Isai, justifying that he (Jousuke) has defeated the latter in a twelve character battle with four characters left (confirmed), that his "pocket" Kirby is by far the best in Japan (unconfirmed) and that he has beaten SuPeRbOoMfAn in Samus dittos using one hand while drinking from a Pepsi can with the other (unconfirmed).
