The 2-Pac is a strategy usable by a team of two Pac-Mans that allows them to both attain unreachable heights. Similar in concept to the Luigi ladder, it involves two Pac-Mans repeatedly using their up special move, Pac-Jump, alternately. As each Pac-Man bounces on the other's trampoline, they both climb successively higher until they are both out of reach for many opponents. They can then stall with the technique until time ends, then repeat the process during Sudden Death, when Bob-Ombs will eventually spawn under the team and fall onto their opponents.
As a stalling technique, the 2-Pac must be recognized and interrupted quickly, or the opposing team will have no way to counter it without a vertically long-ranged projectile (such as PK Thunder) or a huge vertical recovery that can be interrupted with an attack (such as Robo Burner).
