Origin

MegaMan.EXE is a character from the Mega Man Battle Network series of games, an alternate continuity to the "classic" Mega Man games where networking flourished instead of robotics. He is a NetNavi that belongs to the human student Lan Hikari. In reality, Mega Man is actually Lan's twin brother, Hub, put on to the data of a NetNavi. Hub and MegaMan are exactly alike, except for their eye color, though this feature later became identical to save MegaMan's life. The two make an amazing duo, seeing as they almost never lose a NetBattle. The two have saved humanity on multiple occasions; they have defeated Dr. Wily and his son, Dr. Regal, time and time again.

Trivia

  • In SSB4, MegaMan.EXE doesn't wear his mask that he wears in battle in Mega Man Battle Network. The reason for this is unknown.
