Mega Evolution is a mechanic introduced in Pokémon X and Y. In Super Smash Bros. 4, it appears as:
- Mega Charizard X, Charizard's Final Smash.
- Mega Lucario, Lucario's Final Smash.
- Mewtwo's unnamed Final Smash, which is performed as Mega Mewtwo Y.
- Mega Venusaur, Mega Blastoise, Mega Blaziken, Mega Kangaskhan and both variations of Mega Mewtwo, which appear as trophies in SSB4 (only Mega Venusaur and Mega Blastoise in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS).
