- A Nintendo Direct reveals that Mewtwo will be available in Super Smash Bros. 4 starting April 15th via the Club Nintendo promotion, or April 28th for purchase afterwards. In addition, Lucas is revealed to be in development, planned for a June release.

- At Aftershock, Sethlon, Junebug, and iPunchKidsz respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Project M singles, ZeRo, Dabuz, and Denti respectively take 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles, and Axe, Wobbles, and Redd respectively take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Melee singles. Dakpo & Lunchables, ZeRo & Dabuz, and Axe & Wobbles win Project M, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Melee doubles, respectively.
