The Super Smash Bros. Series is one of my favorite series. The first time I played, I was playing brawl. I have never got to play Melee or the Original. My main is Mario, my second main being...Well, hard to decide. I play as basically every character in Smash 4 exept: Samus, Zero suit Samus, Zelda, Peach, Palutena, Wii fit trainer, Sheik, Pit, Dark pit and Robin. And the ones I hardly play as at all: Link, Toon link, Kirby, Falco, (because Fox is probably better) Duck Hunt, Bowser, Meta Knight, Mega Man, Lucario, and Sonic. The characters I usually do play as: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Donkey Kong, Captain Falcon and Fox.

And also: Some techniques I use: Teching, Shield grabbing, Oftenly meteor smashing, Stage spiking if possible, Trying to chain combos and Fox trotting.

To start a match with Mario, I'd usually: Use a down grab, up tilt as many times as possible, jump and up aerial as many times, and maybe ending it with another attack. This racks up a bunch of percent, usually around 50 or 60% at the most, and is probably not escapable until the up aerials and finishing attacks, which, if escaped, will still leave the combo with at least 35%. With some characters with Fox, they seem to escape faster. But at the most, it does about 60%. You could say it's safe to punch (up tilt) about three or four times, as they will escape or use a move if you do it to much because they will keep getting higher and higher into the air. The only disadvantage of this is that it usually only works fully at 0% because of the knockback of the up tilts.

I don't have a particular way to start the battle with Luigi, but I usually use a down grab to do 20% if you do it right. I do a down grab, jump, side aerial about twice and then try to do another attack.
