Mega Evolution is a mechanic introduced in Pokémon X and Y. In Smash, it appears as:
- Mega Charizard X, Charizard's Final Smash.
- Mega Lucario, Lucario's Final Smash.
- Mega Venusaur, Mega Blastoise, Mega Blaziken, Mega Kangaskhan and both variations of Mega Mewtwo, which appear as trophies in SSB4 (only the first two in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
