Clubberskulls (デススカル, Deathskull) are enemies from Kid Icarus: Uprising that resemble a large heart with one eye, with demonic skulls on their hands. They appear in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as an enemy. They hide in a skull, and if attacked enough, break open and attack players, similar to the Towtow from Brawl's Subspace Emissary. They can also be mid bosses for a event as well as the Bulborb, Bonkers, and Polar Bear. They have the most health and are considerably the strongest enemies in Smash Run, but they can also damage other enemies, who will drop their own stat boosts if they defeat them just like if the player did it. Once defeated, Clubberskulls drop rarities that are just like the Souflee, except that they drop three of them, or five as event bosses.

Origin

Clubberskulls in Kid Icarus: Uprising are extremely powerful enemies of the Underworld Army. Mostly encountered towards the beginning of the game, they are often chained, immobile, and harmless until hit. When free, its movements cause slight tremors and are heralded by a loud clanging noise.
