::::I've now beat it with Captain Falcon, Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt, Toon Link, Rosalina & Luma, Dr. Mario, ROB, and Olimar, no continues, and unlocked him. BUT, by doing so, it gave me a challenge box for beating it with 5 characters on intensity 2.0 or higher. Above intensity 2.0 I have beaten Captain Falcon, Bowser Jr., ROB, Olimar, and Toon Link. I bet that, besides whatever I got from the challenge box, that's also Mr. Game & Watch's unlock criteria. The easiest way to test it (for someone who can) would probably be this: Beat Classic on 2.0 with 4 characters, then less than 2.0 with one, and then on 2.0 with the same fifth one.
