KO Stars (also called Knockout Stars) are "awards" for KOing opponents in the VS. Mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. 4, present at the bottom of one's character selection panel. The amount of KO Stars received is dependent on the amount of opponents defeated.
