"Bucket Braking should link to Momentum Cancelling as a whole instead of directly linking to the section about Oil Panic."

Aren't people who click the bucket braking link more likely to be interested in everything about bucket braking, rather than everything about momentum canceling? Mako Shark (talk) 14:23, July 13, 2010 (UTC)

The information about "bucket braking" on the momentum cancelling page is almost the same as the information about it on the Oil Panic page. However, the Bucket Braking section on the Oil Panic page does not explain what Momentum Cancelling is and the process. As such, it would be more beneficial for readers to see what Momentum Cancelling is and the process of doing it instead of almost the same information they were reading before. Redirecing to the Oil Panic section on the Momentum Cancelling is rather pointless, unnecessary, and more importantly, impractical as readers do not need to see the same information again. "Bucket Braking" is a type of Momentum Cancelling, linking to the whole Momentum Cancelling article makes much more sense as readers would need to see what Momentum Cancelling is and how to do it for the information about momentum cancelling with Oil Panic to be of use to them.
