Try to keep a maximum of three items on this list at once. A fourth is okay, but five is out of the question.
Also, watch the <noinclude> on the last item. It needs to stay attached to the last item, with no spacing.
Finally, note some ground rules for whether new SSB4 information is newsworthy:
- Playable character, stage, and item reveals are.
- Assist character reveals usually are (that is, Assist Trophies and Pokémon).
- New elements of previously known things generally are not.

- Zero Suit Samus, Sheik, Yoshi, Charizard, Greninja have been confirmed to return in Super Smash Bros. 4 as playable characters, with Sheik and Zero Suit Samus now being separate characters. The status of Pokémon Trainer is currently unknown.

- A Metroid has been shown to be returning in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
- 4 April 2014
- A Nintendo Direct has been announced for April 8th. Called Super Smash Bros. Direct, it will focus on Super Smash Bros. 4 and is expected to reveal substantial new information.
