Final Destination Match is the 50th and penultimate event match of 51 in Super Smash Bros. Melee, in which the player may choose any character. The player will have 1 stock, while their foes, Master Hand and Crazy Hand, have 300 HP each (the same as when fighting them in Classic Mode on normal difficulty).
The stage the player fights them on is Final Destination. Unlike in Classic Mode, Crazy Hand is in the fight right away, rather than entering the fight when Master Hand's HP falls below the halfway point. With this, and the fact the player can only have one stock (as opposed to up to five), this battle is more difficult than the fight with them in Classic Mode, as the player has to avoid both their attacks for half the match instead of just a quarter, while having no spare stocks to use.
Trivia
- When the player is playing as Master Hand using the Master Hand glitch, the background stays the same throughout the match.
- It isn't strictly necessary to have ever faced Crazy Hand before in order to play this event, whereas most other events need to have their combatants unlocked first.
