He legitimized himself to the community at large by placing fourth at [[Tournament Go|Tournament Go 5]] and ever since, Azen has ranked third or higher in virtually every tournament he has entered.

| Azen's greatest national victory occured at Tournament Go 6, where he defeated [[Captain Jack]] to claim victory. He also attended [[MELEE-FC|FC6]], and did quite well after what most considered to be a six-month hiatus from the game. He was victorious at [[MLG]] Orlando, ranking even higher than [[Ken]].

| Azen is known as the "Master of Diversity" because he can play nearly every character in the game at a high level. He has placed in the top 10 of big tournaments using characters like Samus, Link and Pikachu. However, it would be an exaggeration to say he "mains" all of the characters in the game. When Azen is playing at his best in tournament competition, he primarily plays Marth and Sheik; however he's been known to often use Peach and Falco in doubles matches.

| Azen picked up ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' on its release and continued to play numerous characters at a high level. Some of these include Lucario, Marth, Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Mr. Game & Watch, Snake and Peach. Azen used to be considered the top Lucario player, and many argued it is largely thanks to Azen that Lucario was considered a high tier character in ''Brawl'''s earlier days.

| During his time in Brawl, Azen has achieved much success and notable victories, such as beating [[DieSuperFly]] 2-0 at Critical Hit 3 and being the first person to knock {{Sm|Ally}} out of losers bracket (at CATACLYSM 4). He is also the first person to have won a major tournament (C3 tournament 8-15-09) with Lucario, beating [[Korn]] 3-1 in grand finals.

| As of August 2009, Azen went on a hiatus from ''Super Smash Bros.'' He claims he is "no longer interested" in smash and had only played smash for such a long time because his friends played it. He says that he spends most of his time nowadays "chillin' with [[Chillin]]" and playing other fighting games.

| Azen made his first tournament appearance in almost four years at [[Pound 5]] in February 2011 coming 49th in singles (out of nearly 200 entrants) and coming 9th teaming with Chillin, in doubles. He and Chillin have stated in their new Youtube series; "Fight Nights with Azen and Chillin" that they have officially become active ''Melee'' players again.
