Named the Falcon Punch, Captain Falcon charges a powerful punch and throws it, with his fists engulfed in a flaming falcon shape, doing 24% damage and advances slightly forward. One of the most powerful moves in the game and has the highest priority out of his moves. In addition, the move is faster than it was in Melee and Brawl, making Smash 64 Falcon Punch deadly. It is best to use this move as a finisher to a combo. Captain Falcon can also use a Falcon Punch to gain him a little horizontal distance when recovering, and a little vertical distance as well if the move is angled up.
