Evo 2013 was a fighting game tournament, of which Super Smash Bros. Melee was a featured game. A particular event that sparked outrage amongst the community was when Nintendo attempted to block the streaming for Melee at the tournament. However, due to extreme community backlash, Nintendo withdrew their attempt a few days before the start of the tournament.
