Kirby's Adventure is a 1993 platforming video game developed by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It also appears as a masterpiece in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It was the second game in the Kirby series.

Origin

While not the first Kirby game, Kirby's Adventure is notable in that it introduced Kirby's Copy Ability, as well as the character Meta Knight.

Kirby's ability to copy an enemy's abilities with Inhale and Stone originate from the game.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

The stage Fountain of Dreams is from this game, though its music is not. Kirby's new side special, Hammer, also comes from Kirby's Adventure.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Meta Knight originates from Kirby's Adventure. His down special, Dimensional Cape, also comes from the game. In addition, the Butter Building music from Kirby's Adventure is featured as a track for the Halberd stage.

The most notable appearance of Kirby's Adventure in Brawl is its appearance as a masterpiece, being playable from the beginning.
