Special Gravity is a setting in Special Melee and Special Brawl in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl respectively. This setting can be used in Melee to speed up or slow down the characters and the timer. In Special Brawl the timer doesn't change the timer speed. Gravity can set to Light or Heavy. In general, Light characters jump higher, fall slower, gain better recoveries are, less vulnerable to chain throws, and have decreased vertical momentum canceling abilities, while Heavy characters have shorter jumps, fall faster, have shorter recoveries, are more vulnerable to chain throws, and have increased vertical momentum canceling abilities.
