Speed is the magnitude of a character's (or his or her attack's) velocity in the air or on the ground as measured in the Super Smash Bros. series games. The term "speed" can refer to:
- Falling speed
- Air speed
- Dashing, measured as running speed.
- There are also rankings for walking speeds.
- ExtremeSpeed, Lucario's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Quick Attack, Pikachu's up special move in all three games, known in Japan as Lightning Speed.
