Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Please sign in, if you haven't already, and create a user name! It's free, and it'll help you keep track of all your edits. See Help:Why create an account for more info on creating an account.
- Questions? You can ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!
Using Show Preview
Hello, Davsto, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep Recent Changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, RickTommy (talk) 04:08, 11 August 2012 (EDT)
- This user isn't not using the preview button, but editing the page section by section, rather than editing the whole page in one edit. Pay attention to where the edits are made. Omega Tyrant 08:34, 11 August 2012 (EDT)
SmashWiki is not just Smash Arena
Hi, I've looked through your contributions, and in the three months you've been here, I see none of your edits have been constructive, with all of your edits (barring the one edit on your user talk) having been to Smash Arena. Continue just focusing on Smash Arena, and you will risk being put on probation. Omega Tyrant 22:18, 19 October 2012 (EDT)
- On that, I'd like to delete my account, as I would rather just do smash arena without an account. However, I can't find how to do it.Davsto (talk) 11:30, 2 November 2012 (EDT)
- Why would we allow you to delete your account just so you to use the Smash Arena without expectation of being useful to the wiki? Once you've made an account, it is expected that you continue to use it indefinitely.
- By the way, it is not possible to delete an account without database damage. Toomai Glittershine The Yoshi 12:41, 2 November 2012 (EDT)
