Rumble is a setting in Super Smash Bros. Brawl where a controllers vibration can be set to either on or off. All controls can have rumble set to "on" except the Classic Controller which has only an "off" rumble option due to having no vibrating mechanics within it. Controllers can have the rumble set to "off" so no controller in that control port or wireless connection will rumble when ever being hit or being KO'ed. Names can also be set to "on" or "off" so whenever that name is used in a match there will be either vibration or no vibration.
