Just because they happen to share some similarities doesn't mean they're the same. And the name difference is almost enough to merit different pages on its own. I still strongly oppose. Strong oppose. The layout is fixed here, where in Melee and Brawl the characters encountered until Master Hand are random. Miles (talk) 19:56, 29 December 2010 (EST)
- That's only because in Melee and Brawl there's too many characters to have a fixed layout. And that's the only difference between 1p game and Classic Mode. They both pit the player against rounds of opponents. In both, the rounds can vary between 1 on one fight, a fight against 2 people with an ally on your side, a fight against a giant character with 2 allies, many light characters fought at once, or a metal opponent. The both have mini games after every 4 or so fights (In fact, Melee shares 2 of the three mini games with SSB). The both involve fights against the Polygon/wire frame team (except for brawl, though). Finally, they both include fights against Master Hand at the end. I'd say that's enough similarities for them to share an article. 98.111.95.78 20:07, 29 December 2010 (EST)
Because the only opposition has yet to reply, I think the articles should be merged now. Mr. Anon (talk) 15:34, 19 March 2011 (EDT)
