This forum has the purpose of helping to select what battles will eventually take place in the Smash Arena. If you would like to make a suggestion, please feel free to leave it here. New suggestions are placed at the bottom of the page. Be sure to state your reasons why you suggested it and put the support, reject, and comments sections underneath it.
Like the idea? Be sure to give it your support. Note that this page is not to be used for the actual voting between fighters; that happens in the Arena itself. Remember, the combatants don't necessarily have to be able to fight each other normally in Smash Bros.
Rules
- The SA operator(s) has final say over all the fights. Suggestions and comments are merely a way for the community to influence the fights.
- Sign your suggestions/votes/comments with ~~~~ and a # in front of it (you don't necessarily have to put # in the comments sections, but you do have to sign with ~~~~).
- Don't vote for your own suggestion. You automatically vote for it if you suggest it.
- Do not post more than one suggestion at a time; about one week between suggestions is fine.
- Post why you support/oppose. Don't just say "Oh, this is a cool idea". Explain why you like/don't like the fight.
- You can remove your own suggestion, but this doesn't mean you can immediately replace it with something else.
- Place new suggestions at the bottom of page. If you place them at the top, they may be lost.
- Do not use this page to argue with other users over their reasons and opinions. You can civilly point out an inconsistency or mistake in their description, but if you say things like "That's stupid" that could potentially start an argument in the comments, you are breaching this rule.
- The comments section is to be used for relevant comments.
- Check this list to view the fights that have been done; currently no repeat fights are permitted.
- If a fight you suggested is removed, do not repost it. Either it was removed because it was deemed to not have enough support to be used, or it was removed because it has been placed into the queue. You may repost a failed fight if it has been some time (about a month) since it was rejected.
- Only Smash Bros.-related fights are permitted. Fights don't have to be between playable characters, but the combatants must have appeared in at least one Smash Bros. game.
- And finally, do not make this page into the Smash Arena itself. This is for deciding what goes there, not voting on which would win.

Groudon vs. Kyogre
In the aincient times, these two gods battled it out to decide the fate of the world. Now as they reawaken, who will dominate? Altaria (talk) 21:28, 17 December 2010 (EST)

- So original -_-MegaTron1XD 22:27, 17 December 2010 (EST)
- Unoriginal. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 08:22, 18 December 2010 (EST)
- For the same reasons why the Palkia vs. Dialga match was opposed. Plus, their effects as pokeball pokemon in Brawl don't have any notable similarities or differences, along with a vast difference in their effectiveness as pokeball pokemon (while Kyogre is arguably the best pokeball pokemon, Groudon is one of the least effective legendaries). While this would be an obvious matchup in a Smash Arena equivalent in a Pokemon Wiki, it doesn't really fit well in a Smash Bros. Wiki imo. Omega Tyrant 09:05, 18 December 2010 (EST)
- Way too original. Sure, there's original, but sometimes you can go too far with it.-Ivy73 10:50, 18 December 2010 (EST)

- Surely this has been done before? Such an obvious fight that should have happened. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 08:22, 18 December 2010 (EST)

Uhm, was the ALL CAPS for the intro necessary? That alone makes me feel like opposing this... Omega Tyrant 09:22, 18 December 2010 (EST)
Bumper vs. Flipper
One bumps people away when they come in contact with it. The other, uhm... flips people away who come in contact with it. Both highly similar in function, but unable to coexist in the same Smash Bros. game. Which of these indiscriminate obstacle items is the superior and more annoying anti-approach item? - Though in SSBM, a Bumper does exist.--MegaTron1XD 10:08, 18 December 2010 (EST)

Mario vs. Mr. Game and Watch
Two most classic Nintendo characters. Both were starting in 2D games, and both found a place in gaming history. But who will win, the flat black man or heroic plumber? UilMash (talk) 10:00, 18 December 2010 (EST)

Pikachu vs. Pichu
Two representatives from the same series, but one of them had to leave. One mascot, one mascot's little brother. Which one will prevail? A classic case of sibling rivalry! Welikeikeandfoxes (talk) 12:56, 18 December 2010 (EST)
