GYKO is an New Zealand smasher known for using many different characters. He first started Super Smash Bros when SSBM was released but it was not until Brawl's release in 2008 when he started to play at a higher level.
However he is probably most known for his contributions towards building a Smash community in the Marriland forums. He is also one of the few, if not the only representative for his country internationally.
Melee
When GYKO first played Melee, he did not even own a Gamecube and originally mained Samus. He purchased the game in 2009 wanting to play Roy, and now he currently mains Marth although often plays Fox, Falco and Sheik as well.
