| Roy is the main protagonist from Fire Emblem: Fuinn no Tsurugi (Sword of Seals). He only appeared in [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]. He was a [[Clone characters|clone]] of the other Fire Emblem character, [[Marth]]. He replaced another Fire Emblem character Sigurd, advertising his upcoming game. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, he is overall weaker and less agile than Marth, but heavier with stronger special moves. He also possesses a super-charged version of Marth's Shield Breaker move, called Flare Blade. This move practically guarantees the player an instant K.O. (Roy does take some damage himself from the blast).
