Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire were the 3rd generation of the Pokemon series of games. Torchic, Mudkip and Treeko originated from Pokémon RSE.
Ruby and Sapphire cover creatures were Groundon which is an assist trophy as well as Sapphire's Kyogre which uses Hydro pump in it's assist trophy. Emerald's Rayquaza isn't an assist trophy, but appears as a boss against Diddy Kong and Fox in the Subspace Emmisary.
