Lucas (リュカ, Ryuka) is the main protagonist in Mother 3 and a new playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Biography
Lucas is the main protagonist of Mother 3, and is similar in appearance to Ninten and Ness from previous Mother games. Lucas is Claus's twin and is often referred to by him as a crybaby. After the intro when he grows up, he is drafted by Wes to find Duster and Kumatora. He learns PSI and begins to battle against the Pig King Empire.
In the Super Smash Bros. series
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Lucas did not appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He was, however, intended to be a playable character, but Earthbound 64 was axed, not giving him an appearance until Mother 3, which was also delayed, so Nintendo decided to keep him out.[1]
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Lucas was announced on Smash Bros. DOJO!! to be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on October 1, 2007. His attacks are similar to Ness's attacks in Melee.[2]
