Gameplay videos from E for All have shown it in action. Ike leaps in the air, slashes a character multiple times with his sword aflame, and knocks them downward with a powerful finishing blow, similar to [[Link (SSBB)|Link's]] [[Triforce Slash]]. Upon impact with the ground, a large explosion knocks any character that happens to be too close away. The attack does about 70% damage. Multiple enemies can be picked up in this attack and, although Ike is invincible during this move, Ike's victims can be attacked by other players along the way down.

Great Aether

Great Aether is Ike's Final Smash. After grabbing a Smash Ball, Ike will throw his sword upwards. Any foe slashed by the sword will be caught in mid-air, and will be constantly hit with a powerful, flaming blade. Near the end of the Final Smash, Ike, and all effected foes, plummet towards the ground. When Ike lands, a large explosion occurs, causing an almost guaranteed KO for all effected opponents.
