Puff Up glitch

Jigglypuff's Puff Up glitch.

The Puff Up Glitch is a glitch for Jigglypuff in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The glitch works on any stage where terrain is regenerated (like the awnings on Onett, etc). The easiest and most popular place to use this glitch is the Bridge of Eldin.

Instructions

1. Jigglypuff must break a Smash Ball.
2. On the Bridge of Eldin, after King Bulbin destroys the middle of the bridge, a twilight portal will open after a while and start restoring the bridge. Any time during the restoration of the bridge, jump into the space where the Bridge will re-appear with Jigglypuff and use its Final Smash.
3. Jigglypuff will start to grow, during which the bridge will be fixed, and if timed correctly, Jigglypuff will be launched into the air and will stay in its larger state. It now has a larger attack range, but the damage from its attacks will remain the same.
4. If Yoshi (or Kirby with Yoshi's ability) uses Egg Lay on Jigglypuff while it is in its permanently enlarged state, it will escape the egg and become twice the size it was before.

Notes

• To end the glitch, just self-destruct or use Jigglypuff's Final Smash again.
• Using the same process of achieving this glitch, many other Final Smashes will have odd effects, such as R.O.B. gaining a permanent Diffusion Beam.
• This glitch can cause a K.O. if pressing the B button once after doing the puff up glitch.

When Jigglypuff transforms into it's giant form, it becomes invincible to attack. When regenerating terrain reforms, however, it no matter what damages whoever is inside while it is regenerating. As a result, giant Jigglypuff gets damaged while it is growing. Because if this, the final smash is interupted, never giving Jigglypuff the chance to shrink.

Trivia

• It's highly likely that if you roll, you will end up SD'ing.
• Run speed does not increase proportionately. Strangely enough, rolling does.
• in some instances the area will perform like an invisible box. not allowing you to jump very high and making you unable to walk farther than two in. also in this instance rollout will slow down, even at max level, and you will only roll towards the "wall" of the box, glowing and not going anywhere, only moving left or right to get up from the fall will result in an SD.
• If you are in a Mega Brawl, sometimes, if you use it, when Jigglypuff is getting bigger, sometimes it will stop growing and will shrink until it reaches the point where its size is just like in the normal brawl.
• Despite the fact that Jigglypuff is now gigantic, it still has the same running speed and jump height as if it were normal size.
• If Jigglypuff is big enough so that it fills up the whole screen, other fighters standing still will slowly be pushed away from Jigglypuff.
