In every Super Smash Bros. game so far, Kirby has had the ability to copy any other characters' standard-special move with his Neutral-B attack, Inhale. When Kirby inhales Bowser, Kirby gets the hair, eyebrows, and horns of Bowser. He also gains the power to use Fire Breath.
Note: The pose for when Kirby is using his version of Fire Breath is the same as when he breathes fire as Fire Kirby in Kirby: Super Star and subsequent games featuring the ability.
Captain Falcon
Features Obtained: Captain Falcon's racing helmet (with transparent black visor).

When Kirby inhales Lucas, he gains the Lucas' blonde hair along with his PK Freeze PSI ability, and Kirby even shouts, "PK Freeze!". This move will put Kirby into a helpless state when used in the air.
Luigi
Features Obtained: Luigi's green cap.
Standard Special Move: Fireball
When Kirby inhales Luigi, he gains the Fireball power that Luigi has. Kirby gains Luigi's distinct cap he has worn over the years.
Mario
Features Obtained: Mario's red cap.
Standard Special Move: Fireball
When Kirby inhales Mario, he receives the power to use Mario's Fireball. Kirby also gains Mario's distinct cap he has worn over the years.
Marth
Features Obtained: Marth's hair, with a crown.
Standard Special Move: Shield Breaker
When Kirby inhales Marth, he gains the ability to use Shield Breaker, and gains Marth's tuft of blue hair.
Note: When Kirby inhales Marth, his hair is actually longer than Marth's. This is probably because Kirby's head is bigger (in proportion.)
Meta Knight
Features Obtained: Meta Knight's mask (with green eyes), and small wings.
Standard Special Move: Mach Tornado
When Kirby inhales Meta Knight, Kirby will be able to use Mach Tornado. He also gains Meta Knight's mask, the Galaxia Sword to perform the copied move, and a small pair of bat wings similar to Meta Knight's. Kirby will enter a helpless state if used in the air or if it doesn't touch the ground before finishing.
Note: There is some comical irony in Kirby's appearance here, as Meta Knight without his mask is revealed to look exactly like Kirby, but with different colors and a scowl.
Mr. Game & Watch
Features Obtained: Entirely black with gray outline, and white eyes and mouth.
Standard Special Move: Chef
When Kirby inhales Mr. Game & Watch, he becomes a black version of himself with a gray outline, as if he were a Game & Watch character. He can launch food-based projectiles at his foes using Chef. Kirby and the pan are 3-D though, unlike Mr. Game & Watch.
Ness
Features Obtained: Ness's backward baseball cap.
Standard Special Move: PK Flash
When Kirby inhales Ness, Kirby will be able to use PK Flash, and he sports Ness's baseball cap. Kirby imitate's his voice, and pronounces 'Flash' clearly. This move will put Kirby in a helpless state when used in the air.
Note: Kirby wears Ness' hat backwards despite Ness wearing it forwards, a reference to him wearing backwards caps as Wheel Kirby, Yo-Yo Kirby, and Paint Kirby (the latter two only appearing in Kirby Super Star and its remake, Kirby Super Star Ultra).
Captain Olimar
Features Obtained: Olimar's nose and helmet antenna.
Standard Special Move: Pikmin Pluck/Pikmin Throw
When Kirby inhales Olimar, he'll get a big Olimar nose and helmet antenna. He will also get the ability to do two different special moves, which is unique among Kirby hats (as Pikmin Pluck would be useless for Kirby by itself). He first uses Pikmin Pluck to get a Pikmin, and immediately uses Pikmin Throw. The Pikmin act only as projectiles which do not latch on to the opponent, and die upon contact with the ground.
Princess Peach
Features Obtained: Peach's crown.
Standard Special Move: Toad
When Kirby inhales Peach, he sports an adorable crown from the Princess. He is able to use Toad to block and counter attacks.
Pikachu
Features Obtained: The hat of Pikachu's head, with ears, eyes, cheeks, and attached tail.
Standard Special Move: Thunder Jolt
When Kirby inhales Pikachu, he gets a Pikachu hat that features Pikachu's tail, face, and ears. Kirby is granted the ability to use Thunder Jolt from his own cheeks, just like Pikachu, and even uses it on all-fours. Kirby will also do an imitation of Pikachu's voice when using Thunder Jolt.
Pit
Features Obtained: Pit's laurels and wings.
Standard Special Move: Palutena's Arrow
When Kirby inhales Pit, he will be granted Palutena's Arrow to shoot at opponents. Pit's headpiece and wings will now be on Kirby. Kirby will also imitate Pit's shout when firing an arrow.
Note: It resembles Cupid Kirby, a Kirby copy ability where Kirby can fly around and shoot arrows.
Pokémon Trainer
Charizard
Features Obtained: The top of Charizard's head, with nose peak, horns and attached wings.
Standard Special Move: Flamethrower
If Kirby inhales Charizard , he gets a unique Charizard hat. He will also be granted special move Flamethrower.
Ivysaur
Features Obtained: The top of Ivysaur's head, with attached bulb and leaves.
Standard Special Move: Bullet Seed
When Kirby inhales Ivysaur, he gets an Ivysaur hat that displays Ivysaur's bulb and ears. As such, he is able to use Bullet Seed from the Bulb.
Squirtle
Features Obtained: Squirtle's shell (worn on head), with attached tail.
Standard Special Move: Water Gun
When Kirby inhales Squirtle, he will bear a special Squirtle hat that features Squirtle's shell and tail. Now, Kirby has the ability to use Water Gun.
R.O.B.
Features Obtained: R.O.B.'s sensory goggles, and light on head.
Standard Special Move: Robo Beam
When Kirby inhales R.O.B., he gains his sensory goggles as well as the blinking light on his head that tells him when the Robo Beam is fully charged. When upon executing this attack, Kirby says "BEEP" in a generic, robotic monotone voice.
Note: This ability works very similarly to Laser Kirby.
Samus Aran
Features Obtained: Samus's helmet, which covers the entire body, his visor is also clear enough to see through.
Standard Special Move: Charge Shot
When Kirby inhales Samus, he will be able to use Samus's Charge attack, which he charges with his bare hands. He wears Samus's power suit helmet as well, rather than the whole suit.
Sheik
Features Obtained: Sheik's cloth wrappings and hair.
Standard Special Move: Needle Storm
When Kirby inhales Sheik, he will gain the ability to perform Needle Storm as well as attaining Sheik's headwrap and hair.
Snake
Features Obtained: Snake's headband and facial hair.
Standard Special Move: Hand Grenade
When Kirby inhales Snake, he gets Snake's beard & headband as well as being able to throw grenades.
Note: Like Snake, Kirby will cover his ears when the grenade explodes near him.
Sonic
Features Obtained: The top of Sonic's head (above the eyes), with ears and quills.
Standard Special Move: Homing Attack
When Kirby inhales Sonic, he gets the hedgehog's spiney quills as well as the ability to use Sonic's Homing Attack.
Toon Link
Features Obtained: Toon Link's cap.
Standard Special Move: Hero's Bow
If Kirby inhales Toon Link, he obtains his Toon cap and version of his Hero's Bow.
Note Toon Link's cap is slightly lighter than Link's.
Wario
Features Obtained: Wario's biker helmet, with straps.
Standard Special Move: Chomp
When Kirby inhales Wario, he will sport a biker helmet worn by Wario himself. He will also be able to use the special move Chomp. This allows for another method of performing a Sacrificial KO with Kirby.
Note If Kirby inhales Wario while in his overalls look, Kirby will still get his biker hat, not Wario's classic yellow "W" cap.
Wolf
Features Obtained: Wolf's ears and eyepatch.
Standard Special Move: Wolf's Blaster
When Kirby inhales Wolf, he obtains Wolf's Blaster as well as Wolf's scouter and ears.
Yoshi
Features Obtained: Yoshi's head, with nose, eyes, and red spines.
Standard Special Move: Egg Lay
When Kirby inhales Yoshi, he obtains a Yoshi hat as well as the ability to use Egg Lay. Oddly enough, Kirby's tongue stays, leaving Kirby with 2 tongues.
Princess Zelda
Features Obtained: Young Zelda's headdress.
Standard Special Move: Nayru's Love
When Kirby inhales Zelda, he will sport her old headpiece from past Zelda games. He will also have the power to reflect projectiles with his new special move Nayru's Love, and make a distinctive "Haaaahhh!" sound when he does the technique.
Zero Suit Samus
Features Obtained: Zero Suit Samus's ponytail.
Standard Special Move: Paralyzer
When Kirby inhales Zero Suit Samus, he obtains her blonde ponytail as well as the ability to use Paralyzer Shot.
