Instructions

The player must choose Ness and Yoshi. Afterwards, a stage must be selected. Then, the CPU needs to be set to human. Next, Yoshi needs to use Egg Lay on Ness. While Ness is breaking out of the egg, have him do a PK Thunder. During this time, have Yoshi use egg lay on Ness again. The egg must have sparks behind it. After Ness escapes from the egg,Ness will be covered in sparks after escaping from the egg. The sparks should linger. Performing two things will remove the sparks: having ness use PK Thunder, or KO'ing Ness.

Another way to do this glitch is having Ness use PK Thunder and having another character grab him.

Also, having Ness use PK Thunder and having it hit the top of his head straight on |. Ness should not launch. However, with this method, the sparks will not linger forever becuase certain moves will make them vanish.

Another way to do it is to hit Ness in midair while he is using PK Thunder. This technique does not always work.
