Score Display is a secret option introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It can be unlocked by scoring a combined total of 5,000 KO's in VS Mode. Instead of waiting to know your score at the end a VS Mode match, such as Time. When unlocked, you may now see your score on screen (via amount of knockouts by numbers). The option, however, doesn't work in certain matches such as Stock.
