Competitive ''Ultimate'' is the first ''Smash'' scene where all three major superregions (North America, Japan, and Europe) can host majors on a consistent basis. As such, ''Smash'' is arguably the only ''Smash'' game that can have a player win a major in all three superregions.
Unlike most other ''Smash'' games, where majors mostly take place in North America, ''Ultimate'' is known to have frequent majors in all three major "superregions": North America, Japan, and Europe. As such, many players began refering to those who won a major in each superregion as those who have completed the ''Ultimate'' "Triple Crown".

A "Triple Crown" is a term used for someone or something that wins three of the scene's most important events. The term is mostly used in horse racing, such as the {{iw|wikipedia|Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing|United States}}, but it has also been used to describe winners in any sport.
Currently, only three players have completed the Triple Crown. Only the first major win is listed, and '''bold''' represents the last tournament needed to complete the Triple Crown.

As such, although not an official term or award, ''Ultimate''{{'}}s Triple Crown is a player who wins a major in North America, Japan, and Europe.

Unlike most other Smash games, where majors mostly take place in North America, Ultimate is known to have frequent majors in all three major "superregions": North America, Japan, and Europe. As such, many players began refering to those who won a major in each superregion as those who have completed the Ultimate "Triple Crown".

Currently, only three players have completed the Triple Crown. Only the first major win is listed, and bold represents the last tournament needed to complete the Triple Crown.
