Isn't normal Vs. Mode sort of confirmed for Brawl? I mean, there hasn't been an update for it or anything, but it's kind of a given, and we've seen footage of characters fighting without Special Brawl effects, leading me to believe that there must be a mode where you can turn items off, e.g. normal Vs.
