Spring Kanto 2023 was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Tokyo, Japan. It used the traditional Japanese tournament format, starting with round robin best-of-1 pools that place players into either an A or B (pro or amateur) best-of-3 double-elimination bracket. There was no character lock rule. Smashers Kimimaru, Hydra, Shears, Tacos, Sugaaku, and Komotonoto from the United States made an appearance. 56 players attended in total, the full list can be found here.

kysk won the tournament using a combination of Captain Falcon and Kirby, defeating Wario with the former in Winner's Finals and Kurabba with the latter in Grand Finals. He also beat Sekirei in Winner's Quarterfinals.

Shears won the B bracket, defeating tournament organizer Chihiro 2-1.
